One of our favorite features of UpDesk is that our height adjustable desks are aesthetically pleasing. Even if you tend to be an organized person keeping a clean desk can be difficult during busy work days. Here are a few ways to clean up your UpDesk:
Cords: If you are using our PowerUp standing desk there will be a cord to plug into the wall. Fortunately there is a cable management channel included with your desk. Consider gathering all of your cords for your computer printer and lamps and hiding them with a cable pouch. You don't want to ruin the sleek look of your office desk with cables tangled around each other.
Desktop: Now this can be the hardest part. Keeping your desktop organized will take a little bit of tidying up each day. This is especially important if you are using our UpWrite writing desk. You don't want to lose sight of your valuable notes because you aren't keeping a clean workspace. Below are just a few ways to keep it neat:

Every inch counts when you are working so consider replacing a desk lamp with a floor lamp.

Use small letter holders to organize mail and bills. Keeping them in a pile on your desk may make them get lost in the shuffle.

Keep a filing cabinet underneath your desk. Once a week take a few minutes to refile papers and documents. Your days will go much smoother when you can easily find what you need.

Don't be a hoarder. If you don't need it throw it out! Keep a recycling bin trash can and shredder nearby. At the end of each day or week get rid of what you don't need. If you have a hard time letting go scan documents you are unsure about and keep them safely stored on your computer.
